Walk behind Double Drum Vibratory Roller has the vibratory source located in the drum which provides maximum compaction, single drum has one giant circular wheel. A double drum has two of these wheels, usually with one in front of the driver and the other behind them. Obviously, the double drum type drum roller will flatten more objects at once, Vibratory rollers produce vibrations by filling the drum with basalt. As the drum rotates so does the basalt. The basalt collides with the walls of the drum and produces vibrations. The magnitudes of these vibrations can be increased by increasing the weight of basalt. Single drum rollers are heavy-duty pieces of equipment with one large drum mounted at its front end and specially-made tires at the rear, fitted with sturdy treaded tires designed to offer excellent traction allowing it to move across various terrains easily and comfortably.
